Short Comic Memoir
/I recently had the opportunity to take an online class with one of my personal heroes, the illustrator Steve Brodner, through SVA. I think it’s always good for artists to stay sharp and take a class from a more experienced artist from time to time. It’s inspiring, and it keeps you sharp. Turns out that, in addition to being one of the greatest political artists of our time (and that’s no exaggeration), Steve is also a really great teacher.
One of the assignments he gave was to do a short memoir. I decided it would be fun to do a story about my on-again, off-again love affair with the guitar. Read the story and see what you think!
